Southpawz is a five-piece rock cover band based in the West GTA, playing together since 2014.
Rachael fronts the band, with a high-energy show that is different from most cover bands you’ll see.
Our setlist runs from the 70s to last month. Classic rock, Motown, funk, top 40 and the odd country tune. Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Tina Turner, Alanis, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, The Tragically Hip, Amy Winehouse. Songs people actually know, played properly. Have a look at the full set list set List.
The dance floor fills early and stays full. It also holds up when nobody’s dancing yet and people just want something good on in the room.
Who we play for
Corporate holiday parties and staff appreciation events. Private parties and milestone celebrations. Charity galas and fundraisers. Municipal and street festivals, Ribfests, golf, curling and yacht clubs.
We’ve played ribfests and festivals across Southern Ontario, and we still play a few west end clubs because we like them.
The band
Five working musicians who have been at this a long time, in Southern Ontario acts including Slingshot, The Sofa Kings and Push. Twelve years as Southpawz, with same five-piece format.
