SouthPawz is a five-piece rock cover band based in the West GTA, performing together since 2014.
Rachael fronts the band with a commanding stage presence that sets SouthPawz apart from the standard cover band lineup. Behind her, five musicians with decades of combined experience across Southern Ontario’s live music scene deliver a sound that’s polished, powerful, and built for any size of crowd.
Our repertoire spans five decades – classic rock, Motown, funk, top 40 and the occasional country favourite. Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Tina Turner, Alanis, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, The Tragically Hip, Amy Winehouse. We choose songs audiences already know and love, giving every event an instantly familiar energy. The dance floor fills quickly and stays that way through the night. Even before the dancing starts, the band sets a tone that keeps a room engaged.
Who we play for
Corporate holiday parties and staff appreciation events. Private celebrations and milestone events. Charity galas and fundraisers. Municipal and street festivals, Ribfests, golf, curling and yacht clubs.
Our work has taken us across Southern Ontario’s festival circuit, and we maintain relationships with a select number of local venues we’ve come to know well over the years. If you’d like to see the band live before booking, these public shows are a great way to experience SouthPawz firsthand. Check our social media for upcoming dates.
